Dragon’s Dogma 2 Microtransaction’s Explained: Do I Need Them, Player Feedback and More
It's been a wild time for RPG players, especially with the release of Baldur's Gate 3 in 2023, with so much to look ahead.
Dragon's Dogma 2 has been on players' radars for quite some time, and unfortunately, there's some major issues that are causing frustration amongst players.
Dragon's Dogma 2 is set to be one of the big hits for the first half of 2024, and the title is a RPG fan's dream title, it appears. Similar notes to Baldur's Gate 3 throughout the trailers we've seen thus far.
Similar to other Capcom games, they've gone ahead and added a ton of shortcut microtransactions into the game once the review embargo has gone and past. These include some weapons, fast-travel tokens and other items that players can simply acquire throughout the game, so no, they aren't nesscary at all.
However, players have been giving Capcom their feedback, and it's a shame to see that they're in the game at all. There's no need for players to purchase them throughout their journey, alongside the fact that they shouldn't be in the game in the first place.
So, we'll have to wait and see to how Capcom responds to the waves of angry Steam reviews such as the following one.
