“Neverness to Everness” PV First Exposure Sparks Wide Discussion Among Gamers

Recently, the open-world game "Neverness to Everness," independently developed by the Chinese Hotta Studio, released its PV and gameplay demonstration video. It also announced that the game will be available on PC, mobile, and console platforms, making it a multi-platform global release. This has sparked widespread discussion among gamers worldwide.

Below are the words from the developers:

Hello everyone, our new game "Neverness to Everness" finally meets you today.

"Neverness to Everness" aims to provide players with a stage that feels both familiar and slightly strange. In this world, there are otters with TV heads, skateboards that rampage through the streets with graffiti at midnight, and numerous anomalies that defy common sense. Of course, you can also meet partners with various superpowers and solve upcoming events together, gradually understanding and integrating into this brand-new supernatural city.

Regarding the design of the open-world supernatural city, we have many thoughts during the development process, and there are a few points we are eager to share.

First, we want this city to be realistic enough, so we learned how to do city planning. We not only studied real cities and existing game designs but also systematically learned urban planning. We hope this is a "living" city where shops are in business, pedestrians and vehicles on the streets have their own destinations, and neighborhoods have different styles and community atmospheres.

Second, we want good stories in this city. No matter how good an open-world game is, it cannot lack good stories, just like "Grand Theft Auto V" cannot do without Michael, Trevor, and Franklin. We define the story of "Neverness to Everness" as a unit-based light comedy, committed to presenting vivid and delicate plot performances and characters with distinct personalities. Most importantly, we hope that through an episodic plot design, players will be curious, maintain a sense of immersion, and be motivated to explore continuously.

The last goal is that we hope the urban experience can be more immersive. We want to reduce the fatigue of exploring the open world and focus on creating a sense of immersion in urban life. We will use a city management gameplay to add fun, allowing you to earn money by running shops, then buy cars and houses in the city, and enjoy a comfortable life.

Currently, the development of "Neverness to Everness" has been going on for a while, and the city of Hetro has been built from scratch. We thought of using a continuous shot to do the first live demonstration of the game, so you can feel this city more realistically and see its construction and ecology. This city will continue to improve in the future, with more residents joining, and we are also arranging the stories that will happen on this stage. To achieve the effect we want, we used the UE5 engine this time, and we will continue to optimize for multiple platforms to ensure players on different platforms can have an excellent experience.

We thank every player who has watched our first PV. We welcome everyone to provide suggestions, point out problems, and offer more interesting ideas. We also welcome partners who are interested in "Neverness to Everness" and share our goals to join Hotta Studio, so we can together make "Neverness to Everness" a fun supernatural urban open-world RPG.
