#MplusPavilion Exhibition | Shirley Tse: Stakes and Holders, Hong Kong Exhibition from the 58th Venice Biennale In 2019, Shirley Tse represented Hong Kong with the premiere of the exhibition at the 58th Venice Biennale under the title ‘Shirley Tse: Stakeholders, Hong Kong in Venice’. It is a culmination of Tse’s career-long interest in plasticity and in the various meanings and possible interpretations of materials and things. In her two installations from ‘Shirley Tse: Stakes and Holders’, ‘Negotiated Differences’ and ‘Playcourt’, that respond to the exhibition site and negotiate with its spaces, Tse addresses the complex ways individuals relate to each other in contemporary society. The Hong Kong iteration returns to the M+ Pavilion with new configurations and artworks! Visit ‘Shirley Tse: Stakes and Holders’ at the M+ Pavilion. The exhibition opens until 1 November!
