Different types of medical equipment, measuring every aspect of his status, stood all around them. Holding his hand, she said softly, “Are you sure you don’t want me to call Tyler?” William Hayes’s lids slowly drooped over his eyes. A teardrop slipped down from the corner of his eye and onto the white pillow case. “It was my fault. I abandoned him.” Kate pulled a piece of Kleenex and dabbed at his tear. “It isn’t important now. City of Athens, Ohio - News and Information
Trick or Treat in the City of Athens will take place on Saturday, October 31 from 5:30-6:30 pm. Following the recommendations from the Ohio Department of Health, the City of Athens is offering the following guidance for trick or treaters: Trick-or-Treating: • If you are a participating house please turn your front porch light on. Please assume that any house without a light on, is NOT participating. • Wearing a facemask or facial covering is required in the City per ordinance 0-84-20. A costume mask is NOT a substitute for a cloth mask. Children under 2 and those that cannot remove a face covering should not wear a mask. • Continue to maintain a 6 foot physical separation between members of your family and anyone else and remember that gatherings of more than 10 are still prohibited. Limit the number of houses you visit and ask your children to stay as far from treat-givers as possible. • For small children, consider holding the bag for them. • Wipe off candy wrappers with sanitizing wipes when you arrive home. (NOTE: Never wipe unpackaged food with wipes.) • Carry hand sanitizer with you and use it often. • Allow children to eat only factory-wrapped treats. Avoid homemade treats made by strangers. • If your child is at greater risk of complications from COVID-19, contact your doctor before allowing participation in Halloween activities. • For trick-or-treating, reach out to neighbors to discuss ways to ensure 6-foot social distancing, how candy can most safely be distributed, and the need for face coverings. • Refrain from having children select their own treats from a bowl/common container or set up a hand-sanitizing station. • Consider creative ways to distribute treats, such as using a candy “slide” made of PVC pipe, or hanging treats from a wall or fence. • If you feel you or family members are at a higher risk, display COVID symptoms, have a fever or cold, Do Not Participate • Continue to check with local and state health department guidelines as the Halloween date approaches.

At Riverdale Public Hospital. “Excuse me, make way!” Philip Clarke was carrying an unconscious little girl as he rushed into the hospital, yelling loudly, “Doctor! Doctor! Quick, please save my little girl!” The nurses and doctor who had rushed out quickly took the child from Philip’s arms, and entered the emergency room. “Oh, you can’t go in!” A nurse in an azure-colored uniform with a face mask stopped Philip from entering into the emergency room. Just then, the rapid sounds of high heels clicking against the ceramic tiles could be heard from the back, squeezing his heart with every click. “Philip Clarke!” roared someone’s voice. ‘Slap!’ A crisp slap came in firm contact with Philip’s cheek. Before him, stood Wynn Johnston with an enraged expression as tears pooled in her beautiful eyes. “If anything happens to my daughter, I will never forgive you.” Her tone was cold and laced with full fury. This scene frightened quite a few patients and their family members in the hospital. Philip hung his head low without attempting any explanation. “Hmph!” Wynn snorted coldly. The dissatisfaction and contempt in her eyes were visible. Philip stood aside with his head down in silence like a kid who was caught misbehaving. He stole a few glances at the person standing a few meters away from him, the one he used to call his wife. The woman with whom he had already signed the divorce papers could officially be separated from him at any time. Wynn Johnston was gorgeous. Her features were defined, her figure tall and slim. She was well-mannered and educated, once the prettiest girl in their university. She unexpectedly had relationship with Philip, abruptly gotten married, and given birth to his daughter, Mila Clarke. The much anticipated event [Special Recruitment for KING] finally open! With the rumble of the "KING Engine", finally, the renowned "strongest man on earth" KING is landing! Unknown power is hidden behind his cool face. Now let's unravel his mystery. First, let's check out his skills. [King's Face] Basic attack shatters an enemy. This is a recreation of his bluffing in the anime. He will perform well with characters like Doctor Genus, Mosquito Girl and Boros. [King's Intimidation] Blocks Energy, which is very rare in the game. King walks to the center and threatens all enemies for several times. Each deals 1 point Damage. 2 Energy points will be blocked. The massive healing effect by 50% ATK will make sure your team firmly stays alive in critical situations. [The strongest man] This Passive Skill guarantees KING's damage while being a team supporter. Since the damage is directly related your Energy, if you begin with 3 Energy points, you will deal bonus damage by 80% of ATK. Then let's check out the line-up: The first plan: Set KING as SPD 1, Child Emperor as SPD 2, Atomic Samurai as SPD 3, Golden Ball as SPD 4. This plan mostly emphasizes KING's Energy blocking. This works against Core Skills of Child Emperor, Genos and Amai Mask, which will generate Energy by using skills when battle begins. 1. When our KING is faster than enemies, they have to give up their original plan and consider resolving the Energy problem. 2. When our KING is slower than enemies, the Basic Attack of KING SPD 1 can still shatter the enemy. Combine this with Child Emperor's Lv.4 Core Skill to generate Energy. Then you can use 4 ~ 5 Ultimate skills in the first round. This plan also works in situations when only Heroes are allowed, like the Tournament. The second plan: Set KING as SPD 1, Smile Man as SPD 2, Deep Sea King as SPD 3. This plan emphasizes KING's damage. His Passive Skill will deal super high burst damage with massive healing. In this way, we are a bit slower than enemies. Allow them to attack first. Trigger the Core Skill of Deep Sea King, which will generate Energy after blocking. KING's Passive Skill will deal quite high extra Damage. Combine this with the Passive Skill effect of Sky King and this will greatly increase bonus damage. As we are slower and KING needs higher ATK, you need to deploy Superalloy Blackluster in the same row for protection. Smile Man's Passive Skill will heal KING and increase the chance of survival. The healing effect of KING's Ultimate skill, together with the Passive Skill of Doctor Genus, will increase the whole team's ATK. Above is our KING's guide. Hope the rumble of "KING Engine" would bring you luck!❤️❤️❤️

However, life after marriage was not as ideal. Philip’s career did not go well, and his business ended up failing. His daughter even had congenital heart disease, which drained all of their savings, and now he had to make a living by doing food delivery services. On the other hand, Wynn was a deputy general manager of a marketing department in a public-listed company. One of her parents was a section chief, the other a retired teacher. It was safe to say that Philip did not have much status in the Johnston family, and for the past two years, he was almost non-existent. And because of Philip, Wynn had fallen out with her family that her parents were not willing to provide them any support. Both the elders had told them solemnly that they would assist in their granddaughter’s treatment funds only if Philip and Wynn divorced. After the divorce, the child would belong to the Johnston family. This matter had dragged on for a year. The emergency room’s door was pushed open, and Philip saw his daughter being pushed out. He wanted to rush over, but Wynn had already gotten there first. He stopped in his tracks and watched his adorable little girl from afar. Little Mila was wearing a respirator, but her big eyes were bright like obsidian gems. She reached out with her tiny pale hand and mumbled, “Papa…” Philip went over to hold his daughter’s cold hand while gently brushing away the wisps of hair from her forehead, smiling as he said, “Papa’s here.” “Mama, please don’t fight with Papa. It’s Mila’s fault; I wanted Papa to take me to the amusement park.” Little Mila was speaking feebly for her father. Wynn smiled and answered, “Okay, Mama will listen to you and not argue with Papa. “Philip Clarke, pay the hospitalization fee.” A cold voice interrupted Philip’s conversation with his daughter. Philip glanced at Wynn, but she only shot him an icy glare before accompanying their daughter into the ward. Upon reaching the inpatient payment department, Philip took out his debit card. “I’m sorry, but your card has declined,” said the nurse coldly as she swept him a look. Oh, it’s Philip Clarke, she thought. The penniless guy who keeps getting his wife to foot the medical bills. He could have asked for help from his parents-in-law, but he hasn’t. “It’s declined?” Philip was exasperated.

My name is Judith Yale. This name was given by my maternal grandmother and it means ‘beautiful jade’, but I am no beauty. Three months after I was born, a tumor started growing on my face. My parents sent me to the hospital. After the doctor examined me, he said that it was a benign dermatofibroma. While it would cause me no harm, it could not be removed as it would grow back and might become malignant. My father started hitting my mother after that. He said that she had terrible genes, thus she gave birth to a baby like me. Two years later, my father got a promotion and divorced my mother. He never looked for me after that. My mother quickly found another person who complained that I was contagious. He forced her to abandon me with my maternal grandmother. I’ve only seen my mother a few times since. When I was in the third year of junior high, my stepfather got into a fight and killed someone. He went to jail and will probably stay there until the day he dies. Then, my mother became ill and passed away. Even so, I wasn’t sad because she was almost like a stranger to me. Soon, a boy who was 3 years younger than me was sent over. His name was Shane Andrews. He was the child born to my stepfather and his ex-wife. All the relatives from my stepfather’s side did not want him, so the police looked for us. Being the soft-hearted person Grandmother was, it was not a big deal for her. The child seemed rather pitiful, so he stayed. Just like that, I had an extra little brother. This little brother of mine was brought up by my mother and his character was similar to hers. Although he was startled when he first saw me, he gradually got used to me and followed me around all the time. Because my face was full of tumors, I had to wear a hat and a face mask whenever I left the house. My schoolmates bullied me and my teachers hated me. They never stood up for me, and slowly, I learned how to be resilient. Once, a boy ripped my face mask off in front of the class, then grabbed my hair and laughed. “Look at this person, everyone. I’d rather die if I were her.” The entire class gathered around me and looked at me strangely while pointing at me. I had never felt so humiliated before, but I dared not retaliate, so I lowered my head and remained silent. At that moment, Shane rushed in and attacked the boy. However, because that boy was big and tall, Shane got beaten up badly. Still, he had still squeezed out a smile and said to me, “Sis, I’ll protect you.” From that day onwards, I saw him as my biological brother. When I was in the third year of senior high, my grandmother passed away. Our household income came to a sudden halt. I was accepted into the University of Nanking, but after checking out the tuition fees, I gave up the idea of going to university. The inheritance from my grandmother was given to my brother for his tertiary education instead. Brother excelled in his studies and was admitted to the top high school in Mountain city. We moved to the city, but didn’t have an education because of my appearance, I couldn’t find any decent jobs and could only wash dishes and be a delivery person. I had three jobs and the most lucrative one was a dispatch job. Therefore, I delivered items day and night. I did all the jobs that others refused to do. One night, my boss handed me a document for delivery. The customer needed it urgently, so I went with a motorbike. The destination was a very secluded bungalow which I only found after a while. There were loud noises in there as though there was a party going on. I knocked on the door, passed the package to him, and said, “Please sign here.” The young person that answered the door looked at me from head to toe and said, “Take off your face mask. I want to have a look.” I naturally refused, so he pulled the face mask off me, then looked at me in surprise. “Oh my dear. Hey guys, come and check person.” As I covered my face, I ran, but they caught me. I struggled, but a hand covered my nose and mouth. Hope the rumble of "KING Engine" would bring you luck!❤️❤️❤️ Play Now: https://app.adjust.com/d3kajgb_5l7ku5z Official website: https://bit.ly/3d7dNyr -------------------------------------- #ONEPUNCHMAN #ONEPUNCHMANTHESTRONGEST #ONEPUNCH #ONEPUNCHKO #OPM #SHUEISHA

Along with a private doctor and two nurses, Kate sat in Mr. Hayes’s bedroom, watching over him. The king-size bed that used to be in the room had been replaced by a hospital bed. Don’t worry about it. Someday, someday he’ll understand.” A series of coughs reverberated through William Hayes’s fragile frame, and his wrinkled hand flew to his chest, clutching it. Kate quickly moved aside as the doctor and nurses rushed forward to attend to him. When his coughing fit ceased, his trembling hand reached between them. Everyone immediately stepped aside for Kate. She cupped her hands over his. “I’m here.” He pulled down his oxygen mask as she leaned in. “Help me to … to help him.” His weak voice was barely audible, but Kate knew who he was referring to. The one regret that he couldn’t mend in time. She didn’t know how she could help him, but she nodded anyway. Mr. Hayes was a good man; he deserved to go in peace. She smiled at the frail old man lying in bed and moved forward, intending to put the oxygen mask back in place. “Kate, promise that you’ll help him,” Mr. Hayes said, clasping her hand. Her brows furrowed slightly, but she retained her smile. Having known Mr. Hayes for nearly five years, she’d heard all the stories about Tyler Hayes as a boy. Now and then, Mr. Hayes would take out a photo album and tell her the stories behind the pictures. But that was all she knew of Tyler—the boy behind all the stories. She had never met Tyler Hayes in person. Mr. Hayes and Tyler had long been estranged, and neither had tried contacting the other in the past twenty years. Throughout all the health episodes that Mr. Hayes had suffered in the past few years, Tyler never showed his face or graced Mr. Hayes with a phone call. He was basically non-existent. She couldn’t blame Tyler, though. “Kate.” His frail voice brought her back to the moment. “I promise.” “Thanks. Thanks, Kate. Thanks for letting me play the role of grandfather that I never stepped up to. You’re the best granddaughter anyone could ask for.” Then he closed his eyes, his hand slipping from within hers. The muscles around his face relaxed, and it looked as if he’d simply fallen asleep. Only the long monotonous beep from the heartbeat monitor indicated otherwise. Kate stepped out of the room while the doctor and nurses flew into a flurry of activities. She didn’t know how long she stood outside. Eventually, the doctor stepped out

Eventually, the doctor stepped out and gave

Saving sweet Brachi's life
"My Mom keeps telling me that I'm a hero, but my heart is no longer brave. It's weak. And it won't be able to carry me around for much longer." My name is Brachi, and I'm 5 years old already. From the moment I was born, Mom and Dad saw that something was wrong, because I was born without an ear and with one little strange hand. It's a kind of illness that makes half the body not function properly. When I was really little, I went through 2 surgeries because half my heart was not working properly. And since then – Mom is calling me "my hero". Whenever I go play at the park all the kids look at me and laugh and whisper quietly about how strange it is that I have only one ear, and some of them are scared of my little hand - even though it can't hurt anyone. I walk home and Mom reminds me how strong and special I am, and how beautiful I am. Lately, I feel that not only my hand and face are different - but my heart has stopped working properly. It's hard for me to run and I get weak very quickly - and at night Mom puts a mask on my face that helps me breathe. The doctor told us that because my body was growing now - my heart is not strong enough to keep it anymore. And if I don't have surgery to fix my heart - then it will stop working. I love my entire body, I love life even though I'm different and my face and my hand are strange - and I don't want my heart to stop working. I live in Israel and no doctor here can do the surgery I need - so I have to fly to the United States to go through some surgery that costs a lot of money. I try not to be ashamed for being different - but now I'm a little ashamed to ask that you help me be healthy. But I don’t have a choice, Mom and Dad don’t have the money to pay for the surgery I need to go through - and my heart won't last much longer. Please, I deserve to live too, even if I don't look like a normal kid I feel and understand everything. And yes, even though my life is different, I love them and don't want my heart to stop working one day. Please help me live, I need you!
