A New Approach To High-Ticket WordPress Consulting
With all the changes taking place right now, most web designers have figured out they’re going to have to adapt in order to stay relevant. The web designers who are still “selling websites” aren’t finding clients. But, what does this new approach look like? Right now, a lot of web designers are slashing prices, waiving fees, and working for free. It’s very cool to see so many people with their hearts in the right place. But, this is clearly not a sustainable shift and it’s not what their clients actually need right now either. They shouldn’t be encouraging their clients to sit on the sidelines. They need to be helping their clients find new ways to reach and serve their customers. Right now the deck is getting reshuffled which means this is a great opportunity to gain ground, advance past the competition, and come out on top. There are some incredible new opportunities right now and this is especially true for web designers. But, instead of adapting, taking action, and helping people, I’m seeing a lot of web designers hunkering down, holding their breath, and waiting for the return of “normal.” THE BOTTOM LINE: Over the last few weeks things have dramatically and permanently changed - especially in the world of web design. The web designers who are still just “selling websites” or offering generic “digital marketing services” aren’t finding clients because business owners aren’t looking for that stuff right now. They need a level of help they can’t get on Fiverr or Upwork because they need more than raw technical services. This is a huge opportunity, but, web designers need to shift their approach to reaching these clients - both in terms of WHAT they offer and HOW they communicate their value.
