WHAT A DEBUT IN NASCAR PRO CHAMPIONSHIP "WE DID THE IMPOSSIBLE TOGETHER" Leading the Junior Championship! 3rd in the overall classification! Qualifying: We didn't do a single lap in qualifying due to a technical problem with the car, which unfortunately meant we had to start from dead last in Race 1. Race 1: In Race 1 we did the impossible! Starting from P25 due to the technical problem in qualifying - and went all the way up to P6! I did some of the best overtakes in my career, going outside into corners that shouldn't be possible to overtake in - And made it work! Beside having to overtake a lot of cars, we did the fastest time of the race, which meant pole position for Race 2! Race 2: Our strategy here was quite clear. We wanted to lead into turn 1 and create a gap to P2 which we could hold all the way to the flag. But unfortunately P2 did a jump start and took me into T1 and the steward first saw it after the race. Which destroyed our strategy. Then i had to do everything i could to get by P1, which caused brakes, engine and tires to get overheated - After lap 10 i dropped back to P4 were i managed to stay until the checkered flag. But i was amazing in my debut weekend to lead the whole field in NASCAR PRO ! I wanna say a huge thanks to my team DF1 Racing and all the mechanics/engineers for working so hard and never giving up!
