Can waking up early have a positive impact on your life and earnings?🤔 Wonder why top 1% achievers always brag about their early-rising habits?🤨 Check it out here: https://learn.anamikachawhan.com/magnificent-mornings/ Hi, I’m Dr Anamika Chawhan, PhD (IIT-Bombay), Cognitive Scientist and Business & Life Skills Coach. :) I used to hate the idea as early morning hours are obviously the best hours to sleep. And the 5 AM clubs I joined, OMG, it made me cling to my bed more than ever I wanted to. But did waking up late, made my days better? Well, nope. 🤷‍♀️ In fact, I had to rush everything up in the morning with this incomplete, confused or drowsy feeling within me, as normally I never had enough time for anything I wanted to do. Until one day, after years of research in cognitive science, I found out that the #1 reason why waking up late doesn’t make us feel confident or inherently energetic is… We still carry the ‘ingrained mentality’ of stone age hunter-gatherers who used to wake up early in search of food. In fact, our ‘circadian rhythm’ (a biological process that regulates our sleep-wake cycle) is set millions of years back by our ancestors who were early risers. And breaking that rhythm, as studies point out, can affect both our brain and body - leading to weight gain, impulsivity, slower thinking & other problems.‍♀️ No wonder why the world’s top 1% achievers are early risers and endorse it too :) But breaking the age of old habit of waking up late, can be a tough task unless you don’t follow a proven system to make it your new habit and stick to it forever. So I studied the lifestyle of top 1% achievers, joined a few early rising clubs to know the patterns and even did research on how to make oneself accountable to wake up early… And found out that all you need to do to reset your circadian rhythm naturally is to imitate 7 secret lifestyle routines of the top 1% achievers in 7 days a week.
