I have a coaching group for women who, like me, are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In working with clients, I’ve realized there are 5 lies people tell themselves about overeating that actually sabotage their ability to make healthy choices when the food is sitting on the plate right in front of them. Once I realized I was telling myself these same lies when I was thinking about my relationship with food and my body, I was able to make the changes that I had been trying to make for years.
