Google Telover - Music from Israel is delighted to invite you to the beginning of a long line of live & online shows called Manifest.
This online event will take place in Jaffa, Israel and will have a very limited physical audience.
We would like to take the opportunity to create an amazing event / Manifest, during these unstable and dark times of corona. To be able to promote extremely talented Israeli musicians that have continued to create and release new music despite the financial and emotional insecurity. Eager to perform. To collaborate as a community and be able to produce beautiful concerts and events that will enable new music to exist and be accessible online to everyone.
Efrat Fafa Cohen will be hosting the event.
There will be 6 (like the Star of David, very spiritual number) female singers in this edition that makes it unique and special even more.
Ain’t No Lady (Naama Hacohen, Tomer Beitan & Yonathan Leibovich)
Ain’t No Lady is a new project led by Naama Hacohen and Tomer Beitan, dedicated to the late Afro-American activist and poet, Pat Parker (1944-1989). Pat struggled for human and female rights all her life. Her texts were translated to Hebrew by “Raav” publishing.
The musical style is a bridge between poetry slam and hip hop, with an album produced by none other than Tom Iddan aka TITO, to be released in the months to come.
