The Epidemic of Effeminate Men! The other day, I was watching a great video by Father Chad Ripperger. He's a guy who will punch you in the mouth with some of the things he says. And even though he's a Catholic Priest, I suggest anybody watch his videos because he's hard hittin'. One of the things he was talking about in this video really punched me in my mouth. He was talking about one of the biggest plagues facing men today. It's the spirit of effeminacy. And I thought to myself, I don't need worry about that, because I immediately pictured men who walk around with their hips swinging, snapping their fingers, and talking with a slur. So I thought, I'm not effeminate. But, then he went on to discuss what he meant by effeminacy and I had to admit I have a problem. He went on to say that there isn't a single man in the West who doesn't suffer from effeminacy. And that a man who is plagued by effeminacy will put his feelings before his action. He will choose not to do something because he doesn't feel like doing it. He will choose not to fulfill his commitment because he's depressed or he's feeling sad. He will choose not to make the right decision because he's angry. Moodiness in general is a form of effeminacy. And this made me realize, I've been wrong the whole time. Because when men came to me asking why they couldn't fulfill commitments, why they couldn't get off their ass and build their business, why they didn't stick to their goals, I thought it was laziness. Laziness is just the byproduct. The root issue is effeminacy. When you allow your emotions, feelings, inner gushy gooey weak parts control your behaviors, rather than your stoic, warrior, strong parts, You're being effeminate. And it seems to me that many men have been effeminate in the area of lifting. They've shirked their responsibilities, They've become lazy, They've let their bodies go. Look around you the next time you go out and I guarantee there are at least three fat men in your field of vision. Hell, you might be one of them. And I've said it before, I'll say it again, one of the only ways to fix this is through Becoming the Strongest Version of Yourself and Inspiring Others. That means sweeping your own porch, Filling up your own cup, Becoming the source of your own light. Anyway, upon realizing that the spirit of effeminacy is destroying our men, I've made rooting out this effeminacy one of the focuses of Grounding Camp. And if you haven't heard. Grounding Camp is back in September of 2020 in my home state of Florida. Yeah, the pandemic may have had Grounding Camp in the first half. But we're back. And ready to Make Men Great Again.
