I purchased a fancy treadmill with all the bells and whistles, and spent hours everyday walking mile after mile, just waiting for those extra inches to melt away. After about a week I stepped on the scale and saw that I dropped a few pounds. I was so excited. I really thought that I could do this. I could make this work… Then one weekend night, barely a week into my new transformation journey, my family wanted to go out for dinner. At this point I had been eating practically cardboard and my muscles were so sore. And I thought, “Why not? Haven’t I earned this?” I figured that if I were going to make that night a cheat night, I may as well make it count. And I did. We had dinner and then went out for ice cream.
