When I say I live in Bali, Thailand, Colombia, Ukraine, and other places around the world these days people are like cool story bro (So do my friends and I) But when I say that skipping breakfast & lunch is my way of staying in shape while I travel some ears start to perk up. If losing weight has ever been an issue adding constant travel or living in a foreign country usually doesn’t make it easier. After globetrotting 7 years non-stop I’ve failed & succeded at countless fitness lifestyles as well as being around my friends who have done the same. The biggest challenge ex-pats or travelers face when it comes to working out or eating healthy is consistency. You’re not always guaranteed a gym and when it’s time to eat I highly doubt the restaurant will have the calories and macros on the menu. I found a way to combat this by keeping my fitness/health routine as simple and flexible as possible. For example: With my diet I chose to do intermittent fasting (which basically means I only eat for 8 hours a day) The limited amount of time I have to stuff my face along with giving my body enough time to fully digest the foods in its system makes it effective enough to keep my body burning fat each and every day. This is why people like Terry Crews, J Lo, and countless people around the world chose this way of eating. As for my workouts, I like to switch up where and how I do them. ⚠️ Counting Calories and Macros Doesn’t Work For Dads ⚠️ How do I know this? When I was a single bachelor with no kids, tracking calories and macros worked. I was only responsible for myself. I premade and measured everything I ate. I was able to be OBSESSED with getting lean and ripped because, at the time, I had no REAL responsibilities. Fast forward a few years after getting married and having our daughter.
