Elmiron Lawsuit Help
Interstitial Cystitis patients who took Elmiron deserve to know the whole story of the surprising link between Elmiron and a new form of progressive eye disease.
Starting in 2015, Emory Eye Center in Atlanta started to see a new form of eye disease emerge in 6 of their female patients. This eye disease was a form of pigmentary maculopathy — a condition in which the cells of the retina change color, causing vision loss.
So, they began to dig to find a cause. Eventually, they found that all 6 women were diagnosed with painful bladder syndrome and prescribed one of the only treatment options available, Elmiron.
When Emory Eye Center published their findings in the Journal of Ophthalmology, it shocked the medical community. Millions of patients had taken Elmiron for decades, and no one had ever made the link between the bladder drug and vision.
This set off a number of larger studies to find out how widespread this new “Elmiron Maculopathy” was. One study of 91 patients found that as many as a quarter of those taking Elmiron developed this serious eye disease.
Subsequent studies have found that even that number may be low — it may be that over half of all Elmiron patients eventually develop significant vision loss. The mechanics of why this happens are still unknown to medical professionals.
Shockingly, they do know that it is likely that this eye disease can progress even years after the patient stops taking Elmiron.
So, what should those who took Elmiron do?
The first step is to contact an opthalmologist and talk to them about the possibility of vision loss. Those who are already experiencing vision loss should know that “Elmiron Maculopathy” may be misdiagnosed as macular degeneration, pattern dystrophy, or other forms of retinal disease.

En una reunión de altos funcionarios de la Casa Blanca y el CDC, el Jefe del “Staff” expresó su preocupación de que las pautas, protocolos y guías son “muy uniformes y regresivas” y priorizan Estados y ciudades con un número mínimo de casos.
Algunos de los oficiales del CDC han expresado privadamente su preocupación de que su estrategia y recomendaciones de apertura la Casa Blanca nunca la hará públicas.

L'ultima indagine prodotta negli Stati Uniti (Centers for Disease Control di Atlanta - vedi Superando.it del 27 marzo 2020) attesta che ogni 54 bambini nati c'e' un "autistico". L'indagine precedente attestava questo dato a 59....
In Europa e quindi in italia i dati sono similari, se non identici.
Cio' significa che nel 2019, sono nati (cito le Regioni in cui operiamo) : - in Friuli Venezia Giulia 225 bambini autistici - in Toscana 650 bambibi autistici; - in Umbria 200 bambini autistici; - in Abruzzo 220 bambini autistici. Per un totale, solo contando le regioni in cui operiamo di circa 1.295 "bambini autistici" e conseguentemente 2.590 Genitori in stato di pre-disperazione.
Se sommiamo gli ultimi 10 anni andremo a scoprire che i bambini autistici nati SOLO in qs. Regioni, sono stati 12.950 ca. e i Genitori in stato di conclamata "disperazione" 25.900....
