#quarantraining with my @tonal 💪 I didn't have time to nerd out in this video about how cool this machine is❗️ So here's what really excited me: Tonal uses electromagnetic based tension to provide resistance AKA weight 🧲. Not only is the weight adjustable on the touch screen but you can turn the weight on & off on the handle accessories - this was a big factor for me, on top of the fact that the arms can be positioned just about anywhere which means I have tons of movement options for every muscle group I train. Take back squats, for example, either end of the barbell attachment is connected on each arm, both just above the ground; it wouldn't be fun to huck 200 lbs of weight from there to my back. Don’t worry, no need for a squat rack because I simply turn the weight resistance 'off', effortlessly place the barbell in position across my shoulders, and turn the resistance 'on' all by clicking a button on the barbell and boom! I've got 200 lbs on my back like that, ready for reps 🦾! FYI for those interested but don't know as much about resistance training ➡️ Tonal has 100's of workout routines with different male & female trainers that instruct you on exactly what to do and they have long term workout programs too. One more neato feature I can't not share - since the machine can detect deceleration in your reps (AKA when you would need a spotter b/c you're struggling) it automatically and incrementally lowers the resistance, allowing you to complete sets and still get a good lift in.

Here is a killer bodyweight workout you can do to build an incredible upper body and core!⁣ ⁣ The first two exercises are very challenging movements. Take 2-3 mins rest per side and aim to use as little of your supporting arm as possible!⁣ ⁣ The next two exercise are designed for pump training for more size and fullness. Rest just 30-60 seconds between sets!
